Thanks for the warning, Wendy! I left the pic off the bottom of the screen, then scrolled really fast to make him disappear off the top to read the rest of your post. (I go to great lengths to avoid all contact with spiders, even if it’s just pictures!)

We have some nasties in this area, so I try to give them all a wide berth. But none of them are anything near the huge (and probably harmless) hairy tarantulas I used to avoid when I was a girl in south Florida. Maybe that makes the little ones seem not so bad. Bravo for your husband, obviously a keeper.

It’s funny, I can hear a certain tone in my head when you talk about your husband’s and your “spider tone” with each other. Maybe it’s kinda like our kids know that “I’m not messing around” tone when they’re in trouble.

Being a real estate appraiser, I have to measure houses everyday. I have come to dislike rose bushes, and spider webs the most. The rose bushes hurt, and the webs creep me out, so I feel your pain. ;0)
