It’s Zaturday, the day we (Ziggy and Zorro) take over Mommy’s blog.<\/p>\n

\"catZiggy here. Zorro and I are on lizard patrol. (I know, I\u2019m standing in the litter box. But at least it\u2019s clean litter. And it gets me closer to the lizard.)<\/p>\n

The lizards around here are evil. They torment us. They sit on the windows and sliding glass doors, inches away, knowing we can see them but can\u2019t get to them. And they watch us. They sometimes do push-ups and puff out those things on their throats. And they stick out their tongues and go, \u201cHa, ha, ha.\u201d Well, they don\u2019t say it, but I know that\u2019s what they\u2019re thinking.<\/p>\n

The first time I saw a lizard on the window, I went right into attack mode. I totally forgot about the glass. Almost knocked myself out. Zorro says I\u2019m not too bright. But it wasn\u2019t my fault. I see a lizard and\u2026boom! Instinct takes over. I\u2019m a natural-born hunter. It\u2019s what my cat ancestors have done all through the ages.<\/p>\n

\"CatsOh, no! Here\u2019s another one! Zorro and I are keeping an eye on him, making sure he doesn\u2019t get inside. We\u2019re determined. And we\u2019re focused. We\u2019re not leaving our post until the lizard does.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
